Burnett
It looks like a good field of cars for the race at Mid-Ohio. Are YOU signed up? If you were thinking of doing any of the AIECCS races this should be a good one. A lot of people have run here so there is much less of a home track advantage. Sign up an come race with us, 10 cars and counting. http://www.nasagreatlakes.com/season/event_info.asp?eventid=9736 "Its all about the racing!" Members Jim P.
Anyone interested in going to this from Charlotte, NC? I am seriously considering going and could add your car to the truck... It was on the Wild Horses Racing Bucket List - but I don't have anyone signed up yet... You could drop your car off at Lowes on July 3rd and it'll be waiting for you at Mid-Ohio the next weekend... If so - send me an email! Jim Pantas Wild Horses Racing

brucebyerly
I was just discussing this race today. Since I can't go to Nationals, I'm considering coming up. Anybody got any ideas for a 2 car trailer rental? edit: truck and trailer are being confirmed. Me and Wehmeyer might join the mighty AI field. Red Tornado
I keep on working over this all talk and no show Mac Attack guy so hopefully you will have more than me from southeast. Haven't heard from Landon yet but hopefully he can come up also. Looking forward to a great weekend as I head straight in to divorce mediation Monday I need some stress relief racing. Members Ed M.
Sorry - can't make it. Decided to spend my money on a tire changer and balance machine. Catch y'all on the flip side... brucebyerly
I'm in. Patrick Wehmeyer is in. What's the entry list look like now?
Burnett
Wow, I count 15 cars. This is going to be a great weekend. Can we all fit in one area of the paddock? Can we use the American Iron East Coast Championship Series to pull rank on people that park in the middle paddock? I'm going to try to park my big open rig near Capaldi and Rehagan racing in their big rigs . I'll see what I can arange for all of us. Red Tornado
I should be getting there about 4pm or so after leaving Charlotte at 7am. Save me a spot definetly Robin. I need to change tires and brake pads upon arrival. Lowes blistered all my rain tires so had to get another set. My tires from last years nationals just finally showed cord and metal after Sebring. 14 hard and long heat cycles starting at 2/32's. Awesome tires!! Glad to see the Florida guys coming up. Damn this may be bigger than Nationals. Road Atlanta already looks to have nearly 10 local guys alone from the SE so may see twenty plus cars there. Dean#4AI
I should be there around 4pm on Friday. I really don't remember what it's like to race on a dry track. I hope I get to find out this weekend.
Aaron B
I am hoping for the same but weather.com for Lexington and Mansfield are making me cry and Rusty smile... but hey it's only Wed...it will all be changed by Friday
Red Tornado
Looks like 40% chance on Sat and sunday dry racing so may get lucky both days. Last years nationals in downpour hell was interesting and don't want to repeat for sure.
Dean#4AI
Well, the way this year has gone, I would put my money on 100%. I guess I'll need more room to put up my big azz canopy that I hate putting up. Also, a buddy of mine said that he counted 55 cars in our run group. Wow, it's going to be a little crowded. Should be interesting! Edited July 9, 2009 by Guest
Dean#4AI
BTW - How many of you are running the 888's?
nape
Also, a buddy of mine said that he counted 55 cars in our run group. Wow, it's going to be a little crowded. Should be interesting! On the Great Lakes board they were saying that 60 cars was the cut off for each group and both race groups are closed now. It will definitely be a weekend to get some practice in getting through traffic!
Red Tornado
Wow, small course for 60 cars for sure. Especially in a downpour on Saturday As long as we get the split start and a 40 minute race it shouldnt matter a ton.
