sleeperlove
What would it cost points wise to run without the hatch glass?
National Staff Greg G. Posted June 25, 2009 National Staff Share Posted June 25, 2009 It is not legal, as we have not assigned a points assessment for that modification, and it is not listed under the No-Points modification section.
sleeperlove
Got it, so I guess by that same token, Lexan with holes in it is also of the illegal mod variety.
National Staff Greg G. Posted June 25, 2009 National Staff Share Posted June 25, 2009 Correct. We are going to post a few Technical Bulletins in the next few weeks. That is one of them. A driver may cover any existing holes in Lexan rear windows to be compliant. We are just working out the wording of each before we approve them and post them. The rear window modifications will be looked at for 2010, and we will decide if we will keep them illegal, or assign a points assessment for them. sleeperlove
You know you could just let us hatch backers remove it to negate some of the sedan advantage
