jracer72 Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Im in the proccess of building a 1995 Integra for H2 and would like to know if i can run a k20a2 motor with weight added. I see you can run a k20a3 @2350 lbs, the reason im thinking about it, i know you can run a B18c5 @weight 2500lbs which makes 195hp , the k20a2 makes 200 hp and is more available than the b18c5 which is becoming harder and harder to find . Thanks in advance for any comments .............JEFF ......................... Quote
Redstone Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 you could always submit a rules request. They allow the H22 which is a pretty strong motor. Pretty sure its min weight is 2600lbs. My guess is the K20A2 would be around 2600 - 2650 lbs. Quote
Andrie Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 You can run k20a2 as long as you run it in RSX. Don't even bother to send rule request. They rejected a K24A4 accord motor that make much less than k20a2 Quote
ekim952522000 Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 ......They rejected a K24A4 accord motor that make much less than k20a2 Still don't understand that one. Quote
keithg Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 Don't even bother to send rule request. I disagree... Quote
National Staff Jeremy C. Posted July 14, 2009 National Staff Posted July 14, 2009 Don't even bother to send rule request. I disagree... I agree with Keith! You can send it in, but getting the K20a2 allowed in H2 will be a stretch because the engine is so strong. It'll have to be a great request with lots of info. Just submitting a "please allow this engine because I have it in my car" won't work! I can tell you that ahead of time. Quote
