Holster Maker Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 This big dollar, 2200# twin turbo nsx vs aix mustang in Jun '09 T-hill scca ite race. Keep watching until the final laps, very interesting. You might have to Pause to load and have a pbr, then watch! http://www.gofastvideo.com/video/1914/SCCA-Regional-4-ITE" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Quote
Raznkane Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 Good video. I would love to see the one from the Mustang as he caught back up with the NSX. Quote
Trevor57 Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 That video was pretty cool. everybody can skip the first 6 minutes. Quote
ianacole Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 Looked like a cat playing with his freshly caught dinner Quote
Dawg Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 check the power plant around 31:10 in the kink. pretty fricking amazing. the nsx sounds like my trips to the dominatrix. Quote
92MNstanger Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 I read it, then I looked down. I really did have a Pabst open when I hit pause to let this load. Quote
Raznkane Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 I really did have a Pabst open when I hit pause to let this load. Thats just scary I need more AI/X motivational videos, I been off work hurt for a month and just found out it will be another 6 weeks at least, damn tendon. Quote
Holster Maker Posted July 21, 2009 Author Posted July 21, 2009 The next race at Laguna Seca, same two guys. These guys are just plain fast, some of those cars they lap late in the race are very fast cars. The Mustang driver's dad is in the black foxbody, I think they passed him 3-4 times! Same deal, "pause" for a while (left button), then watch. http://www.gofastvideo.com/video/1929/SCCA-Regional-Race-6-ITE" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Quote
ianacole Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 So, things seem a little odd to me in both these videos: The Mustang seems to be really off the pace (despite having pole) early on in the race, then just lays it down in the latter parts. Which gives rise to the question: Is the Mustang significantly faster and just trying to make things interesting (or just toying with the NSX), does the Mustang take a bit to get up to "race performance" and then is just totally dominant, or, does the performance of the NSX drop off considerably as the race goes on? I was wondering the same thing. My thought was the Mustang let the NSX go and run his tires off and let him come back to him, didn't work in the last one though. I enjoyed it anyways. Quote
Holster Maker Posted July 28, 2009 Author Posted July 28, 2009 Mustang driver is just new to racing and getting use to his power / car. Like he doesn't have to win either. His car is just awesome! Very nice guy, BTW. Quote

Raznkane Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Thanks Darrell. I was wondering if there was any footage from the Mustang. Subscribed on youtube. Nice car you have, and it sounds much betterthan the nsx. Quote
