Nighttimedriver Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Anyone using this in their DBW vehicle? http://www.sprintboostersales.com/whyitworks.cfm Quote
Weston Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 "Sprint Booster DOES make your car 'FEEL' faster." "If you have a track car where you spend most of your time near redline, Sprint Booster is not for you" At least they're honest. Seems like a more modern version of an "upgraded" throttle cam... it doesn't do anything except change feel and reduce your ability to modulate the throttle. Quote
Meat Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 I haven't heard many first-person reviews but from what I've heard, all it does it amplify the throttle position signal so for example 8% throttle is read by the ecu as 11%, 15% as 28%, 50% as 70%, etc... (numbers I made up) I'd like to hear some feedback though Quote
mbuskuhl Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 FWIW, over on mbworld.org I have read many, many good reviews for it pertaining to the Mercedes E class (check the W211 sections) in the past couple of years. It is supposed to really cut out the lag/delay time between stepping on the throttle and the car responding. Quote
