Screamin532 Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 FOR SALE: 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX road race car This is a fully sorted car. I have successfully campaigned this car in Performance Touring C in NASA's Midwest Region in 2007 and 2008. It has garnered the Midwest PTC Championship both years. It is turnkey ready and is class legal. This has been a great car for me but I am looking at a different platform to run in a different series. This car has been very reliable. It has finished every race (16) it has started except at Mid-Ohio where it was hit on the first lap. Issues/Concerns: The bottom of the driver's side door is creased from an impact at the Nationals at Mid-Ohio when a competitor spun in front of me. The car has no problem passing the 50/50 rule but the crease is noticeable. I have a replacement door but it is red. A repaint of the entire car with the new door is available for an additional price. These cars are notorious for fuel starvation in high G left hand turns due the fuel pump being located so far left in the tank. I have baffled the tank to address this but it has not completely cured the problem. Because of the baffle the fuel level gauge is no longer functioning but I modified the fuel level low light to illuminate at 3/8 of a tank...before the light comes on the car will not starve for fuel on left-handers. Asking $7,000 or B/O Please call Dave at 651-964-9011 if interested. Negotiable: 18' ft open steel 2001 Falcon trailer w/tire rack Delivery Crew/Assistance for first event Car is located near Minneapolis, MN Pics available upon request (board attachment quota has been reached??)
