brucebyerly Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 I bought another race car a couple months ago so either this car or my 911 GT3 should eventually go to make room. 1995 Cobra R Mustang 6,000 miles – No wrecks – Clear Title Current NASA American Iron Logbook – 2008, 2009 5 total races, Competitive and Class Winner, approx 3,100 lb dry weight Engine & Drivetrain: Brand New 351W FRPP “Sealed Racing Engine” all steel crank, forged rods and pistons, Sportsman block and high port aluminum heads, hydraulic roller rockers – Freshly dyno’d & detuned to 344 HP, 360 lb ft with “the flattest torque curve I’ve ever seen” said the dyno operator New 42lb injectors Long tube headers, Bassani mufflers New SCT switch chip with transfer curve for 42lb injectors Trick flow intake, large throttle body, 80mm mass air Factory R oil and power steering coolers New 250 lph fuel pump New FRPP plug wires New MSD distributor New FRPP & Autometer white faced engine gauges Fresh Tremec 3550 rebuild to accomodate .80 (or .83?) 5th gear and heavy duty 3rd gear and other enhancements, nice Steeda shifter (I believe) with a fully adjustable UPR(?) handle FRPP alloy driveshaft 3.73 gears Chassis: Full Maximum Motorsports Suspension Engine moved back to rear mounts in K member Heavy duty MM Torque Arm Koni Double Adjustable Struts & Shocks with coilovers all around and New 450/375 Hypercoil springs with helper springs to keep them located Panhard rod Rectangular subframe connectors (welded in) Driveshaft hoop Relocated lightweight Odyssey battery with aluminum box Front and Rear tow hooks Rear diff breather Removed airbags 2000 Cobra R Brembos with dual ducts & stainless lines 2000 Cobra R rear wing with captive pinned decklid Lightweight cowl hood with captive pins Safety: Very high quality DOM full cage with NASCAR style door bars, dash bar, and nice fit to body shell including completely tight & welded to A pillars - 2008 Recaro racing seat on sliders 5 point GForce Harness Window Net & RH side net New Factory Fuel Safe fuel cell last year Master switch Fresh Safecraft fire system Full and functioning ABS Spares: 1995 Cobra R wheels and Tires, all factory parts that I have Misc: Original window sticker, Perfect factory R hood and complete, original decklid with spoiler Original door panels, misc parts, the roof had a couple of dents from the last owner hitting the ceiling of his stacker trailer but I massaged those out and painted the roof to match hood. All Mobil 1, fresh fluids, etc. I’m sure there’s stuff I left out so I’ll update later. It’s the perfect track car or American Iron race car that’s ready to go and sorted out without being too radical. The dash and harness is all stock so you won’t be sorting out someone else’s spaghetti either. You can make your own spaghetti with this one. I had a charging issue which I finally fixed by referring to the manual. Six steps and done. Mostly a 2008 build. $10k in the new engine alone! $25k or best offer. Bruce 309-397-2525 Quote
