Hi guys, does anyone know for certain if there will be a dyno available at Miller for GTS certification?

I live in a small town a long ways from the correct type of dyno to get a certification.

Thanks for the help.

Is this going to be a GTS only dyno?? What is the availability of the dyno?? Will it be available on Tuesday or Wednesday?

This Dynojet 2WD dyno is there for:

NASA to do any impound dyno verifications.

NASA competitors to verify their power levels (i.e. 3 pulls, no tuning).

If any extra time, competitors may possibly arrange to buy time to do tuning.

They dyno will definitely be setup and running on Wednesday. Tuesday is a good possibility.

I don't plan on doing any tuning, would we (or can we) need to make some sort of reservations or appointment??

We are working on these details with the Dyno operator.

I received an email yesterday noting the organization that is going to be providing the dyno at Nationals:

I called them up but they said they can only dyno FWD/RWD cars. They cant dyno AWD cars. Dave, what are we AWD people supposed to do?

If you are looking to tune, there are two options. Cobb Tuning in SLC is now taking reservations for tuning. There is another company I am contacting that has AWD capabilties.

For compliance, NASA tech will be using our past techniques looking for anomolies. If any AWD cars need to be impounded and dyno'ed will be sealed and taken to Cobb.
