VaTechM3 Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 I currently own 2 e36 M3s and would like to sell my sedan to fund my spec3 build. The car has about 126,000 miles and has a 5 speed manual transmission. I have done all of the maintenance on the car for the most part and the car is a blast to drive. Mods List includes: Bilstein Sport shocks H&R Sport springs UUC Front and Rear Swaybars Vorshlag Camber Plates set to about -3.2 degrees of camber PowerFlex polyurethane Front Control Arm and Rear Trailing Arms Bushings UUC Rear shock tower reinforcements Bimmerworld Stainless Steel Brake lines Hawk HP+ Pads Fresh Brake Rotors Ate Super Blue Brake Fluid M50 Manifold Swap ZKW European Headlights with Projectors Umnitza Angel Eyes Yellow Laminex on fog lights BMW LTW decal on hood of the car Custom Dinan Intake to fit around the head lights Cat-back exhaust Kuhmo MX mounted on staggered stock DSII wheels Recent Radiator change (still plastic) water pump and thermostat to all metal and fresh hoses. Oil changed every 3 to 5K miles with Mobil One and now Royal Purple. Transmission and Diff fluid changed last summer with Royal Purple as well. The car is a blast to drive and handles very well, and the reason I want to sell the car is because I have a 93 325i race car I'm building and no longer have much use for this M3. This car was used primarliy for NASA auto cross and is built to X-D classifications with about 1 or 2 points to spare for other modifications. The only issue with the car is I ran it into a curb and can only get a minimum of about -3* of camber on the passenger side. The camber plates allow for the drivers side to match + more room for more negative camber. There is a slight oil leak in the passenger front corner of the oil pan which is a common spot for the e36s. If you were to have the gasket replaced, I'd highly recommend getting the oil pump nut safety wired. I'd also recommend pulling the stock radiator and replacing it with an aluminum one. I could also replace the radiator, oil pan gasket, oil pump nut, and put on new motor mounts (not required, but still using the stock ones) if a serious buyer wanted them installed at the cost of parts. The car is currently located in Ballston VA (Arlington) and can be best reached via email ([email protected]) or PM. I'l The lip has since been removed as it was crushed when I was getting the car washed... I'm looking to get around $10,000 but will entertain offers. I also have a 96 M3 that is mostly stock with similiar modifications if anyone is interested in starting a build with a fresh stock M. Quote
