Zook Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 I really really want to go, but I found some shiney metal bits in the oil pan the other day. I'm thinking what's left of one or both of the thrust washers on the crank. Kinda want to just say screw it and run it and find out what happens. I should be smart and tear it down now. Maybe I caught something bad before it got worse. Quote
BrianZ Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Damn Chris that sucks.. pull the oil pan off and take a look!! you can get it fix before the race I'll be there!! Quote

B.KRAUS Posted August 7, 2009 Author Posted August 7, 2009 You better shed some weight i think those cars weight about 3800lbs. Quote
Members Brian L. Posted August 10, 2009 Members Posted August 10, 2009 Car weighs about 3400 lbs without a stick of carbon on it and still a lot of weight to take out. But with 320 Hoosier slicks in the rear and a twin turbo 3.8 liter engine it won't much matter what we weigh Quote
FasTom Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 You say that now But what will your wheel bearing have to say about the weight ? Quote

You need to have 4 NASA and 4 TOYO tire stickers on your car (one on each side of the car). The only other thing you'll need is a Logbook for the car. Quote
