ST#97 Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 Ok, so 45 minute session which should include pace lap and cool down....so we are talking 37 to 38 minute race. Is anyone else with a stock mustang gas tank worried about not having enough fuel? I have done 40 minute races in the past and made it fine if I topped off. However, recently we did a 25 minute race and burned nearly 8.5 gallons! More than I ever have burned before as it was humid as hell which means less air to burn.... So, toole is at 4400'...less air...are we going to burn more or less fuel? Need thoughts as I have never run over 1800'. You are on the gas a lot more than some other tracks and I am sort of concerned about fuel mileage...and my a/f is 12.1:1....so not going to gain much by unwisely leaning it out. thanks! Quote
King Matt Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 Guess you'll find out in about three and a half weeks! Quote
bluefirepony Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Oh, I see how it is around here...share, share, share all year long until the Championship. Matt, just get a good 10 minute lead on the field like you do to me and you won't have to worry about it Quote
