Members Dave K. Posted August 20, 2009 Members Posted August 20, 2009 A few of us locals will be out at the track this weekend (22-23) If anyone needs some recon done, or has questions about the facility please post them here, and I'll do my best to find answers for you.
ST#97 Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 What kind of concessions on site..? expensive? Any limitations on how much fuel you can bring in or size of container? Windy? Dusty? Where are the sh!!tters in relation to where we will be pitting? yadda, yadda yada. Thanks!
Members Dave K. Posted August 20, 2009 Author Members Posted August 20, 2009 What kind of concessions on site..? There is a small concession stand right about halfway down the front straight, and the clubhouse overlooking the last 2 turns - There are a few other locations, but these are the two I'd imagine will be open. expensive? Not nearly as bad as they could be! - Figure burger, fries and a drink $10 or so - the clubhouse is 1-2 dollars more, but is inside and air conditioned. Any limitations on how much fuel you can bring in or size of container? Not that I've seen in writing, this is a question for MMP directly Windy? Sometimes - and when it is windy it is WINDY Dusty? Only when it is windy - or when you go off Where are the sh!!tters in relation to where we will be pitting? Depends on where you Pit! If you're in the west paddock, there are facilities at the far west end (and showers), In the team garages along the north side, in the medical building/ace cafe south-east(1 shower), and at the west end of the day garages. If you're in the day garages, there are facilities at each end of them If you're in the GP garages there are facilities in them

kbrew8991 Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 not a facilities question persay - but is there a decent alignment shop somewhat near the track?
Members Dave K. Posted August 24, 2009 Author Members Posted August 24, 2009 not a facilities question persay - but is there a decent alignment shop somewhat near the track? I asked, and nobody had any recommendations in Tooele, but I'm still looking into it.
kbrew8991 Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 need not be a fancy race-prep shop, a street place that won't look at me like I've got 3 heads when I ask for -3.0* camber on purpose is all. Its stock suspension so its not hard to deal with really...
Members Dave K. Posted August 24, 2009 Author Members Posted August 24, 2009 Based on the answers I got from people that live in tooele it doesn't sound like there is a preferred shop. So the big store might be your best bet... Les Schwab TOOELE (435) 843-8270 1162 N Main St I'll keep asking the few others from out there that I know and see if I find anything else.
