Kirkey Seats Legality for 2005

Recommended Posts

cs_rally

These type of seats (all aluminum shell) are not listed among the FIA homologated seats.

The 3.6.12 rules says: "FIA certified seats will be required in all competition vehicles in 2005"

Does it mean that Kirkey seats will not be allowed starting at Sand Blast Rally?

TIA,

Carlos.

This is being reviewed and we should have an answer in the next couple of days.

John (or WvK):

Referencing the previous message traffic about the Corbeau Forza seats, will they be allowed, since they used to be FIA but since lost their FIA cert?

The SCCA allowed them if they were mounted with seat-back braces, do we get an exception if we were logbooked under SCCA with this arrangement?
