Bueller Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 I have a few questions based on 2 points from the following link: http://www.nasaproracing.com/rules/national/2009/NationalsRegulations_2009.pdf 5. ALL Drivers, Crew and Officials are required to stop at registration to sign waivers, receive credentials and other information. 8. Each entry includes One (1) driver and Four (4) Crew persons. Additional crew credentials will be available for $40 each. Extra guests not needing hot pit access may purchase a weekend spectator pass ($10) from Miller Motorsports Park. a) I get 4 crew passes which are included with my entry fee? b) My crew guys dont have to pay for anything? c) They can enter/exit the track anytime with those passes?
AZELISE Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Last year the answer to a and b was yes for the first 4 crew members. The answer to c was they have access to the facility anytime [but they can't drive on track ]. When I checked in I received my crew pass for my brother who was with me and I left the name of a friend who was showing up later.
Mike B Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 At what point are the crew supposed to be announced? During initial registration?
bpanther Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 At what point are the crew supposed to be announced? During initial registration? You do not need to give their names. It works the other way around. They show up and say,"I am with Mike B. He races a XXX and his car # is XX".
Mike B Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 So when the maximum of 4 crew members have been reached, each additional is $40. I guess they will them know "oh hey, the included 4 have been reached, since you are #5, you must may $40" ???? Thanks for the reply by the way.
bpanther Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 If the extra crew members need hot put access, then yes they pay the $40. If they are just guests, I would send them to the Miller window and they can pay the $6 spectator fee.
kbrew8991 Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 of course you could just ask around and see if someone has an extra crew slot or something
