Jim, If I signup for comp school, do I need to race SAT and SUN or can i just run TT. I am wanting to do the W2W next year but I am chasing the championship this year in TT. Thanks.

The Comp School @ the Turkey Trot is our old format, it is over the course of the weekend. You won't know that you passed until Sunday afternoon...

You could theoretically do TT and the Comp School all weekend....

Are you running HPDE or TT?

He needs to be in TT with his fierce Toy....

I don't know about the fierce part, but I am considering doing that.

Firebird Man

I plan on signing up for Comp School today, but do I also need to register for a particular race class to run Sat-Sun?

Any idea what class the old Bird would go into?

There isn't one - the fee will go up $50 on Sept 5th though...

We thought it'd be easier to simply give everyone who registers early a discount nice.gifnice.gif

Signed up - how bad is traffic on I20 from Conyers to 601 on Friday afternoon?

Trying to figure out if the Wife and step-son could make it.

I may even have a real dyno on the 92 by then. Right now its down on power and I think I've kept it TTB for mod points. Might have to run street tires though, not sure if the funds will be there to get some track tires by then.

run TTA. I'll loan you some used A6's on 9.5's. Jason won't even be there, so you don't even have to worry about him

AI or AIX, because of HP? Been to the dyno and gotten your numbers yet? HP and weight will be needed to help you figure out what class you will fit into. You will fit into one of the PT classes for sure.

make that ST and you're probably right

or just slap SU on the side, get through comp school, and worry about it later

Me? You hold the record at CMP I believe.

I think the A6's hold all the records. I get beat like a drum after the virgin sticker run

There ya go! Good advice. Class doesn't make much difference at first anyway.
