Botch1980
I tried searching and didn't really come up with a good answer. I am looking to get into NASA events (next year) and am trying to figure out what all I am going to need to do to get my car classed. Most of it is pretty self explanatory, but I have some engine modifications that I'm not sure exactly how to classify. I am running a 1996 Corvette with the following: -original LT-4 block -bored/stroked to 383c.i. -750cfm carburetor replacing the original fuel injection -computer removed from car (MSD Ignition installed) -stock heads, stock valves, decked .012" -aftermarket cam I know I get points for the displacement increase and the cam but my question comes from the fuel injection to carb conversion. Is it right that I get points for carburetor, intake manifold, air intake, and computer? Is there anything else that I am missing? Thanks a bunch! EDIT: I see that under "no points upgrades" #20 is: ...ignition replacement/upgrade. Would the MSD fall under this or does it fall under points for modifying the original computer (even though it is no longer there)
Weed Wacker
i would try posting this up in the TT or PT forums on this site. Some people have probably already done this and would be of better help.
