Need your thoughts: possible rename of AIECCS

Todd gave us some good feedback on possibly changing the name from American Iron East Coast Championship Series to something easier to remeber or shorter.

So this is a post for your ideas.

Think nationally and how it could maybe be applied to west coast also.

Welcome any ideas.

West Coast has the Pony Cup. You East Coasters could have the My Little Pony Cup? Would make it easy to figure out what to put on the trophies.

Chris,

This is what I do for a living. I can offer a couple of things. We all call it the East Coast Championship series. You could just call it that.

If you are thinking about a national series. Simply call it the "NASA National Championship Series"

I am under the impression that expanding beyond just AI is part of the plan. If that's the case, there is no need to mention AI in the series title.

I had been calling it the Travel series to shorten it. ASA used to have a Tour series.

NASA East Travel series?

Keep it the same and consistent for one more season and it will look and sound just fine- people will refer to it differently depending on who they are talking to....competitor to competitor.....competitor to spectator etc.etc..- if you want to shorten it you can do just that... American Iron East Coast Championship Series - could become - American Iron East Coast Championship.

Like all the ideas so far. Keep them coming.

We will likely be officially getting out 2010 schedule in next few weeks to give folks plenty of time to plan ahead.

A couple thoughts:

American Iron East

American Iron East Travel Series

American Iron East Series

Robin & Chris's Greatest Adventure - American Iron East Coast Championship Series

My vote from the west looking east would be:

AIES (american iron east series) and then maybe AIWS, AIMWS, AITS, etc.
