B.KRAUS Posted November 8, 2009 Author Posted November 8, 2009 So Graham and Mark were there today to help me with the car.so Graham drove it and said the car has more power than his car.we also were working on the set up.we started out with 800lba front spring and 1600lbs rear spring.we also put all the 2812 koni shocks to 0 bump and rebound.this car will not go loose for us.it pushed right off the get go.so i had Graham drive it and his input was like mine, bad push. so we took out the front springs and went to 600lbs and left the rear at 1600lbs.still pushed but was better, now it pogoed front to back, and was still pushing.now we put 1000lbs in the front of the car and im going to test it tomarow morning at 8;30am.ill post tomarow night and tell you guys what it does.the power is off the hook.Graham said it will smoke his down the straights, but we have a really bad push.it almost feels like the roll center is to low.we will see how these 1000lbs front springs feel.if they make the car better i have 1100/1200 to throw in tomarow also. Andrie Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 Hey, I thought I told you that you might need more springs in the front. I didn't even entertain the idea of lower springs. The combination of your car weight and motion ratio definitely require more front springs to make the suspension work. Who's idea going to softer springs anyway in any case, let me know if it works. Remember you will have a very small window with the springs. The rest have to work with shocks and alignment. Quote

B.KRAUS Posted November 9, 2009 Author Posted November 9, 2009 Well i put the 1000lbs up front and alot of the under stear went away.but still had a little.i also took off the end plates off the wing and that made a little difference.im going to order 1800lbs for the rear and a set on 2000lbs springs.the rear of the car still feels like its hooked up to much.it will not slide the rear end out at all.MOTOR POWER IS SICK.i turned a 151.4 at sears point.track had seen rain on friday.so times were off probley 1 sec.i used this weekend as a testing.so next year out of the box should be better/and faster.my plan is to run 5 races then park it for nationals.my next question is can i team up with someone and not run the car but 1 weekend and still be qualified for nationals? You don't have to run the car AT ALL, if you team up with some one. Hell you don't even actually have to race!! ahahah Quote
mikeski38 Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Buy a stock h22 and run H2 until nats, then put in the beast. They are only $650 at attarco, pop in in and run. Quote
