Members Brian L. Posted November 30, 2009 Author Members Posted November 30, 2009 Thanks for looking but I found a ride... GOTO:Racing would like to announce that Brian Lock has accepted an invitaion to drive for BiggsB Racing at this years NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill. Brian Lock will co-pilot the BiggB Racing / Turn in Concepts '04 Subaru WRX bringing with him years of Subaru as well as 25 hour experience. The BiggsB Racing / Turn in Concepts machine looks well prepped for an overall podium, complete with a full STi drivetrain, fully built STi motor, large fuel cell, and sticky BF Goodrich R1 race slicks. "After talking with Bluegrass Biggs about the car I became extremely excited about being involved with this program. The team seems to have done everything right so far with the build, the car will be fast enough to run competitive ES laptimes, but not so fast that it will not finish. I am very optmistic about our chances, "commented Brian Lock. Of course even the best car will not win much less finish without experienced drivers behind the wheel. The car must be driven fast yet controlled to stay out of trouble for 25 straight hours. BiggsB Racing has assembled a wealth of talent that includes drivers from multiple professional series, including Rolex 24 experience. Brian remarked, "I can't wait for testing to start on Thursday. Although my career has taken me away from Subaru's lately, they will always have a spot in my heart as how I got started. It will feel good to be back in a STi!" Brian Lock and GOTO:Racing have spent the year developing their new Time Attack effort with a 2010 Nissan GT-R. "Time Attack is fun but it is nothing like an endurance race. The 25 hour is a truly unqie race that I am proud to say I have been a part of every year since its inception, " said Brian.
