5pm eastern or central?

It won't matter. I've been nagging since July or August, so an hour or so isn't going to save them!

I'm thinking to run slicks for TTC or street tires for TTE. I found a set of Goodyear slicks only for 100$, but they are for 13 inch rims. I'm trying to figure out if I can fit 13 inch rims to my Mini.

I'll answer that. NOPE! 15's barely fit.

Besides without camber you'd hardly get them to last a couple laps. Open Diff too would kill em.

Thanks Ian. Good to know

Alex, I don't want to get your contingency Hoosiers away from you

If I run TTE, I can not run Hoosiers tires and without running them I can not get contingency tires anyway.

I guess I have to pass to run TT this weekend.

Hoosiers, Pulley, Diff, Camber plates, Rear sway bar. Go play in TTD. I Could easily have it done for you by the weekend. That's essentially what my car was last time I had it at Homestead.

Did you have stock suspension last time at Homestead?

I had the stock sport suspension when I was there last. It was about 170whp then too.

I wish I could say that I have Ian's TTC classification forms on file to confirm or deny this, but I don't...

Mini Cooper S is TTE** car. With pulley (+4 pt) and free ECU tune, it still stays in TTE with 170whp. There are extra 40 pts to work with to stay in TTC

it was heavily scruitinized at Nationals '09 and passed with flying colors. Its a legit TTC car - if he'll turn in a form to Mark

You forgot the + 5 for forced Induction. It's a TTD car.

I took Points for it back then. Now it's got AST's on it. Greg is gonna wack me with about + 8 Trillion for those shocks next year.

the nicer ASTs are +7 from what I can gather + seeing the "leaked" shock rule

As all NASA-FL TT drivers have been told via email, it doesn't matter who you have given your forms to in the past. If I don't have them for NASA-FL events, then you'll be in TTR.

You forgot the + 5 for forced Induction. It's a TTD car.

And subtract - 5 for smaller tires. It is still TTE

What's funny is the points don't compute for it to be competitive in TTE. a Spec Miata is TTE legal but Add hoosiers and wider wheels. A SSB mini runs about the same as a spec miata on toyo's (not hoosiers). The SSB Mini Gets a Diff, Hoosiers, and JCW springs. Me thinks the Mini should be TTE * or no * to at least allow tires to compete aginst the miata.
