I ran GTS3 last November, but with Hoosier limiting their contingency to 1 tire for 6 or less cars, the Yokohama contingency is looking very attractive. claykos Posted February 12, 2010 Share Posted February 12, 2010 I have run ST1 and ST2 (in Arizona we don't have GTS). I was very successful in ST2 with my 84 3.6 car (now for sale). Have also been successful in the new ST1 - black one with the 996 cup drivetrain. I have always been at a pretty big acceleration disadvantage compared to the vettes/vipers because you get penalized for running light weight. With the effects of drag, a 3200 lb 400 hp car accelerates much faster than a 2500 lb 250 hp car...
