mark Posted April 7, 2010 Share Posted April 7, 2010 I picked up a Chevrolet 1 Ton Dualie (DRW) Pickup in a package deal that I don't need. It would make a great tow vehicle for a budget racer. The truck has factory air (needs belt), tilt wheel, power steering, automatic, stereo, air suspension, and 454 V8. External 40 gallon fuel tank in pickup bed. Runs well, recently smogged. Red with tan interior. Great low cost tow vehicle for a racer or work truck as it tows like a beast. It has made the tow to Buttonwillow and back many times over the last year without incident and also to Miller Motorsports Park and back for the NASA nationals. The paint faded and a bit of 'character' but mechanically it is very sound. New tires, brakes, and shocks. Includes a mini topper with air foil for increased gas mileage when towing. Pictures show air foil in bed of truck and not mounted. Registration is good until Dec 2010. The truck has an interesting history if it matters as it was owned and operated by Dave Wolin and was Mitsubishi Racing's first official tow vehicle back in the day according to the original seller.
