Just wanna say thanks to the NE scruts at NJMP last weekend for a well run event and especially for proper rules enforcement. A lot of extra effort was evident to ensure parity, many thanks.

Results, Track Records, and Points Standings are updated.

Please e-mail me to [email protected] with any questions, and PLEASE CHECK THEM over. There are literally thousands of data points a lot of which has to be handled manually due to the various point schemes that we use. So if you see something that isn't right let me know and I'll fix it. Also please remember that your worst 2 finishes (or no shows) will be dropped. You cannot drop a suspension or a DQ however.

PLEASE Download and read the NASA Northeast Supplemental CCR... There is valuable information in there about points, race lengths, etc. etc.

Hey Mike,

I think things would be less confusing if there was some kind of designation for the good faith racers that showed but could not run. I know that this causes 100 points to be allocated. But when you look at the points, it makes things look like mistakes and we as racers cannot see the good faith justifications. Many places you have a 0 for the other person to support the 100. If there was a designation like NR for "no Run" or something, then it would be documented and reduce any questions.

And of course with the NE region doing something different then other regions (MA gives full 100 points for single competitors) brings forth more reasons for us to use some sort of coding to show why these 100's are justified.

Just my 2c.

Thanks,

Pete

Unfortunately there is no way to put letters in the calculations. I can try to highlight them in a different color or something. Really though it's easier for us to have the racers review their own situations and e-mail or PM us, that gives us a good check on what we are doing.

The rules were actually discussed/changed this year at our annual racer meeting held before the banquet.

Any chance you can update the Watkins Glen track record to include my lap from last year?

944-Spec

Michael Maduske 2:25.782

did that on Sunday in the race with Vito.

Something wierd in the driver's points for 944SC. Please look over the 8/13-14 event.

Two winners on 8/13, none on 8/14, and strange numbers in there as well.
