PAI Racing Posted January 29, 2005 Author Posted January 29, 2005 Thanks John! It took a lot of time and cash to get this car done. If you know anyone who's interested point them my direction. Quote
trackboss Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 Not to side track too much, but did NASA tech say the uncovered (not in sealed box) battery is ok? The rule as I know requires sealed box if in driver's compartment. If there has been a change it will make things much simpler on a build i am currently involved with. thanks, -V Quote
PAI Racing Posted January 31, 2005 Author Posted January 31, 2005 Vageli, As far as I know, NASA still requires a covered battery. SCCA, VARA, HSR and other sanctioning bodies that this car is legal to run with do not require the cover for a dry cell battery. I have a cover for it. It is ugly. The interior photos were taken last February when the car was brand new, so the "ugly box" as I call it, was not installed yet. Quote
