Factory dash required for ST2?

Other than general safety requirements, I'd not pay too much attention to the CCR if you are building an ST/SU car. I'd focus on that part of the rule that says "any performance modification is allowed..." part. Also, if you don't want to run a stock dash...stay away from AI or CMC!

Do whatchyalike brother!!!

Thanks guys. The car will be run in one of many classes (for contingencies) depending on weekend car count.

It will be legal for: TTA/TTS/TTR/PTA/ST2

Can't seem to find it in the CCR.

Section 6.7.5

All dash pads in PTA must be made from depleted uranium, tungsten, or lead. They must be 1" thick and account for 1/7 the total mass of the car.

CORRECTION - Factory dash is NOT required in AI ...but a factory dash is required in CMC.

There's a class for everybody!
