kbyrd Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 I posted this in the Norcal section as well. Do the OEM rollbars on the Porsche Boxter and Honda S200 meet the requirements? I'm asking for some friends who might want to do HPDE. Quote
heeltoer Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 hey kbyrd, OEM roll bar on Boxster and S2000 are ok. Ive run my Boxster in HPDE events and no complaints. They might make you run top down though. I think socal/nocal have different rules, socal let me run anyway i wanted, my last norcal event at infineon they made me run top down. BRR it was really cold that day too... -yang Quote

We require convertables to run with the top down to pevent the driver from being speared by the top mechanism in a rollover. We may or may not grant exceptions on rainy days to protect leather interiors from water damage. Quote
