Grizlbits
I doubt it. Immediately I saw the shock towers under the hood are gone.
Members Jim P.
I don't think the early Camaros had shock "towers" per se...
nape
I don't think the early Camaros had shock "towers" per se... Correct. Double wishbone from the factory and no towers, just inner fenders. From the pictures, it looks like it could be AIX legal. It's too pretty to race though.
Raybob9289
OMG,, I just up off the floor. that car is f*ckin badass!!!! shock towers on a Camaro, thats funny..
ST#97
I doubt it. Immediately I saw the shock towers under the hood are gone. I'd be mroe concerned about the plastic "fuel cell" passing tech to even go on track. Nice car but "toughest camaro".... eh.... whatever happened to Scranton's old car? That is my bet for the next AIX champ unless Paul shows back up this year.....and doesn't have motor problems.

Her car has lexan front and rear, about to have 14# Jongbloeds instead of the ZR1's, 7# doors, 9# lift off hood. NO DASH, probably a couple extra cage tubes, some beefy looking subframes and crap under the car, penske's, stoptechs and an LS6 with my custom exhaust touch, and a new lighter seat mount. The switch to Hoosiers on the Jong's campared to RA1's on ZR1's was nearly 15# per corner. Suffice to say, the car is going to wake up! Car WAS 3200# coming off track. Current goal is now 3050# and I think it should have over 400rwhp. The aero work/subframe is pretty flippin' heavy and I don't feel like messing with that right now. Maybe the pink interior paint weighed 75lbs....?! LOL! I have gotten rid of the cool shirt setup, helmet blower and about to start going after the rest of the car but going to the painless LS1 harness netted over 25lbs of unused wiring. Ultimate goal is 2950 with ME in the car. With her, that would be 2850 or less. There are some things I like about the camaro....however, the front hubs lasting 5 or 6 laps resulting in metric tonnes of pad knockback pretty much ruins the entire experience for me. Would rather have her motor in MY mustang but that might be reserved for late 2011. I'd rather save up for an LS7 with the good stuff and end up with an insane SU car with about 550rwhp. I have been told I can do that with a heads cam LS3...? So someone show me a money tree already! LOL!
