RX8, how much head clearance gained via race seat?

I'm in the information gathering phase for trading in my car on something about 2 years old, that would serve as a springboard into an HPDE mule. I'm boarding on information overload but in no hurry.

 

I found a 2008 Rx8, I like the car.. I'm 6'2 and I don't think they had me in mind when they designed this car. I clear the roof with at least a 1/4 inch clearance. Is anyone in a like situation gained enough room for a helmet with the addition of a seat?

From what I understand the way that you will gain the most room is to have custom brackets made for the seat. That will drop is considerably.
