FS: 8v 2.5 liter non turbo 944 Engine

I have a perfectly rebuildable block for sale for a Porsche 944, 8v 2.5 liter normally aspirated. It was used on a race car but it was well maintained and ran Amsoil. Unfortunately the pickup tube broke on the engine causing oil starvation. I caught it early when oil pressure dropped and my warning light came on - shut the car off immediately. However it was too late as two rod bearings failed and the crank to got scored. The crank can be resurfaced and run oversized bearings if needed or you can find a used replacement crank for $50 online. Engine will need to be completely rebuilt and cleaned but great for engine build project. The cylinder walls are in great condition with no damage or scoring.

$150 obo for the engine. A used engine that needs to be rebuilt costs $500 so this is a little more work but much, much cheaper.
