Anyone need lexan?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I have a trade agreement on the table that would provide me with top quality lexan glass.

I would be able to get it to order and could sell it at below wholesale cost.

Anyone need it now or for in the near future?

Still need it for my 1994 Mustang GT..... Shields brand is around 450 for the front 1/4" and 350 for the 1/8" rear

Make sure it meets the AI thickness specs in the rules.

Lexan was a tech item which was checked at Nationals.

May want to check with the CMC guys as it was allowed in the national championship first place podium finishing car.

Not sure of its thickness but we're told it was heavier then the glass it replaced.

Heavier? that does not seem possible unless it was 1" thick bulletproof - Lexan is usually about half the weight when replacing the windshield?

is everyone using 1/4" in the windshield? I will make a call on monday about all these orders. thanx

Interested in both front and rear for SN95, if it's the scratch resistant stuff.

it is coated. what thickness do you need for both?

I'd like some. Possibly two sets. 3/16ths coated front for 93-02 Camaro, and 1/8th for the hatch.

Is this just raw stock or replacement glass? Manufacturer?

Thanks.

1/4" front and 1/8" rear also (as I need to be compliant with both NASA AI and the SCCA safety rules for another group)

Thanks,
