Hi Ya'll, newbie to the forum! My name's Chris. I'm selling an PTE/TTE/E2 (or SCCA ITA and possibly Spec miata) racecar in Southern California; some of you will recognise it. I've driven various street and semi-prepared cars on track the last 5 years, but decided to jump into W2W racing the beginning of this year. I picked up a dedicated and well-sorted race car back in May from a well-known and fast local driver (Richard Seegman), but unfortunately I must now sell the car I purchased due to financial issues. I only took it to the track once since I've owned it, at Auto Club Speedway, for a test day. I had a blast, and I really wish I didn't have to sell it.

The car has excellent turn-in and exit speed due to the fresh KAAZ 1.5 diff, and the brakes are fresh as well and I was braking right up there with the best even on heat-cycled and slightly flat-spotted C51 Hankooks. The power is good also--the engine is a crate 1.8 installed in late 2008, and dynod at 115 rwhp. All-in-all a great well-handling mid-pack car with nothing to add except a driver.

Here's the specs:

-'94 Miata 1.8 fully-prepped race car

-Currently set up to run in SCCA ITA and E2; and NASA PTE, TTE and E2

-Fully-compliant with all NASA and SCCA safety requirements with log books

- Full custom roll cage built by 7s Only Racing with Nascar driver's side bars and cleared-out door

- Window net, SFI-padded bars, Momo race wheel w/ quick disconnect, kill switch etc.

- E.S.S. 2.3L Fire system and spare fire extinguisher

- Sparco Circuit race seat good until 2012

- G-Force 6 point harness good until 2013

- Extra Momo Start seat w/ 6 point harness included to use as passenger/instructor seat etc.

Performance modifications:

- Tein Flex coil over suspension

- Larger swaybars

- Kaaz 1.5 way clutch-type LSD

- ACT clutch

- Carbotech brake pads w/ fresh rotors

- Racing Beat Header

- Racing beat Cold Air intake

- Performance exhaust with rally cat and straight mid-pipe

- Engine is crate 1.8 liter from Mazda -- 2 years old -- dyno 115 rwhp

- New bearings/hubs all the way around with extra set of unmounted rear uprights w/ bearings included. Other misc spare consumables included as well

- Custom analog Autometer racing gauges and shift light

- Koyo racing radiator

- 8 Team Dynamics 1.2 SM wheels -- one set brand new and unmounted, one set with used Hankook c51 race compound tires

Other stuff:

- Factory hardtop (match color of car -- black)

- Fully plumbed for cool suit with ice chest/pump, electronics and hoses--just buy a cool shirt vest

- R-package ground effects/small spoiler

- Oil changes with verifiable green Motul 300 fluid every race/every other track day. Fresh Redline MTL oil in tranny w/ 4 spare quarts. Fresh KAAZ-brand oil in diff with 2 spare quarts included. Fresh distilled water+water wetter fluid in radiator. Fresh motul race brake fluid.

- I may throw in 2 brand-new sets of un-mounted r-comps at a discount if interested

What's wrong with it? Not much:

- It has had some minor on-track bumps, but no major damage. Aligned perfectly straight by 7's only race shop in Buttonwillow. Front fenders and bumper should be replaced if you care about appearances, but you can race it the way it is just fine.

* Can provide more pics, or feel free to call/PM me with any questions. Car is fast and handles very well.

* Also, I had a nice 16' open trailer that I just sold, but if interested I know of another potential one for sale from a friend.

Asking $9,495 obo

Thanks,

Chris
