jason
I have a daily driver 1999 323is that my key switch broke. I've pulled the ignition switch apart and can turn it with a screwdriver, I get dash lights but no crank. I'd be more than willing to live with a switch and a push button, if there was a way to bypass all the security bs. I figured if anyone knew how to do this easily, it'd be you guys. Thanks for any help you can give me.
sean
a 93 should not have ewsII it should be ewsI. you'll have to look at a wiring diagram to be certain, but i believe that system only uses a relay and if you jumper it will bypass the ews. jason
Had the antenna wired wrong. Now I can at least get it started by holding the key to antenne and turning the switch by hand. Thanks for all the help. Learned a ton today.
