I don't run the top so I didn't want to be the one to say ok to 7 points and basically bump every guy who has this top (and maybe have been running it many years) a whole *. And, you certainly don't get an opinion on how we run our program. As was pointed out and proven, the +7 points came from Dan's head. The offer was 4-5 points, and NASA eventually decided to allow non-OEM tops for the +5 points--final wording of the rule is not posted, but the fastback tops are not going to be legal. That is final. Further discussion in this thread is simply for the entertainment of the masochists that want to keep arguing a dead issue, and the sadists who are enjoying it.
