California Speedway HPDE

I just wanted to post a comment about this weekends HPDE at California Speedway. I had a great time on Sunday. This was my first DE with NASA and I thought it was very well run.

I had two great instructors, although for some reason I can't remember names too well, so I don't know who they were

Thanks for the great day at the track,

Steve

one more thing .... since i have some weird mental problem that causes me to forget people's names almost instantly I'm wondering if any of you can help me out...

First instructor runs an alignment shop ... I think he said in Glendale maybe? He also drives a Honda race car ....

Second instructor (this one should be easy). She was asian. I only saw two female instructors and she was the Asian one

Anyway, both of them were great and really helped me out. I wanted to thank them both ..... thumbs up to NASA

Thumbs up for sure, it was my 1st track event and I learned and applied so much, it was great. The second day was truly a blast. A very well run event indeed.

I'll guess Don Mock maybe? He's not in SoCal anymore.

Glad you had a great time, Buttonwillow is also a fun track, that event is April 9th and 10th. Will we also see you there?

I have to admit that I had a blast as well. It felt good to get out on the track again. I was very pleased at how my car ran when I let her stretch her legs a bit. I saw 125 on the speedo entering turn one. Not bad for a Toyota!

I probably won't make it out to BW this time Hopefully I'll make it out to Willow Springs in a couple months.
