Blackbird222
Going over the CCR there's a mention of cage approved by another racing body - From section 15.6.1 - Any vehicle that does not conform to the NASA cage rules, yet conforms to cage rules of another recognized sanctioning body (SCCA, IMSA, Grand Am, etc.), that wishes compete in NASA events on a regular basis, should be ordered to make modifications within a time frame specified by the Race Director and approved by the Regional Director. How do I know whether a car built to SCCA E prod cage specs (with additional gusseting) will be approved to compete with NASA? Any chance that the car will be allowed to compete as is? The tubing specs are identical between SCCA and NASA for the weight of the car. TIA, Moti
National Staff Greg G. Posted July 27, 2011 National Staff Share Posted July 27, 2011 Moti, Send an e-mail to John Lindsey. Also, if you are at the track, ask Ryan.
