Sm00thindian
Does any one have pictures or further clarification on this rule? "Front and rear wheel fender opening lips may be rolled inward to maximize tire/wheel clearance." I'm asking because the only fender rollers I'm aware of roll the fenders out, and I'm going for maximum allowable track width on my 924S. Thanks, sm00thindian
944-Spec#94
You can take the inside lip which is normally shaped like and L and make it flat. This gives maybe a 1/4" more clearance to the fender. The outside profile of the fender must remain stock. The 924S can fit 225/50 R15 tires, but it can be a little close. You will not get to the same track width of a 944. However in practice this makes no difference as the 924S is just as fast as a 944 body.
