dweymer
I saw a few cars running with "windows" up. They weren't really windows, but plexiglass where the window would go. They were not installed in the window channel, but I did not see the attachement mechanism that was used i.e. velcro, clips, etc. The owner that I spoke with said they were easily removable(by workers and the driver inside the car) and that is how they are legal.(these were on a coupe) Under what rule would these be allowed? The GCR's require both driver and passenger door windows must be down.

kbrew8991
There's some specific exceptions for Porsche Cup Cars and Ferrari Challenge cars afaik. If they weren't one of those two I'd be curious to know more...
RSCoupe
Cars running in GTS are allowed to run with side windows provided they are easy to remove from the inside or the outside.
