B13 Sentra Race Car SR Cup / PTE / TTE $4500 OBO

Hello all -- my 1991 B13 Sentra SR Cup Car / TTE / PTE racing car is for sale. I also ran it in Tennessee Region in SCCA ITU regional class and may qualify for other classes in SCCA.

Life, career and family have crowded out the track. It runs well, drives great and needs only a bit of attention (less than a day's worth) to be fully race ready. It was built right to the limit of specs in the NASA SR Cup Series. Beautiful professional quality safety cage. Strong engine, brakes, etc.

Here are some highlights:

Professional quality safety cage and bracing designed by former Nissan Engineer and fabbed by Technosquare and DRS Motorsports (in SoCal) <-- This car was built with a high regard for driver safety

JDM SR20 Motor -- and spare JDM SR20 Motor

Jim Wolf ECU (S4 Tune) and spare stock ECU

Jim Wolf S4 Cams

Hot Shot Gen 5 Header

Custom Burns Stainless Exhaust

NISMO Clutch Type LSD (<-- these are no longer available -- and are much sought after. We figured around Buttonwillow, the LSD was good for about full second, if not more. I believe this to be one of the most important bits on this car.)

Jim Wolf lightweight flywheel and race clutch

Underdrive pulleys (helps avoid water pump cavitation at high RPM)

Ground Control Full Race Coilover Suspension with f/r camber plates (just recently aligned and corner balance)

Full set of Energy Bushings

Hot Shot front & rear adjustable sways

Willwood B13 brake kit (the car has brakes for days) -- new PF01s front and Carbotech rears

Sparco Pro 2000 Fiberglass Seat and Sparco Harnesses (& rib crusher passenger seat)

Sparco detachable steering wheel

Koyo Aluminum Radiator

MSD Ignition and Longacre Pushbutton start

Pull cable firebottle system installed

Stillen Front lip and side skirts (have a the rear skirt -- but it is not on the car)

Carbon Fiber hood and rear decklid. I have a Aluminum adjustable rear wing you can have as well

2 sets of Team Dymanics wheels (13 lbs each) one black - one silver

1 set of brand new - never run Nitto NT01s (225/45-15) mounted on the black set. The silver set has old RA1s. I also have some spare old RA1s I will throw in.

Lexan front glass

Various spare and bits and pieces

When I last weighed the car it was 2285 lbs -- very light for a race prepped Sentra. And you could easily shave some more pounds if you really wanted to (but you will have trouble fitting into PTE class if you do).

Couple of notes -- it does not have power steering -- I think it's better that way, but I understand if you don't.

The car suffered an "incident" at Summit Point last year. Right front fender, hood was smashed and tie rod broke. But everything has been repaired, and car is aligned perfectly. It just needs a small amount of additional odds and ends to finish its prep. And I don't really have the time.

Email me for my phone number and we can talk if you have specific questions. DO NOT PM ME, as I do not really check PMs. Email: qwiklap AT Gmail DOT com

Price: $4500 or Best Offer. I want to get the car sold.

Location: Vienna, VA (I do not have a trailer or access to one -- so you will need have access to a trailer and tow vehicle to pick up and take delivery)

Sold to meee!

To start, I'm planning for 3-4 track days to familiarize myself with the car - it's a leap in performance from the '94 SE-R I've been driving in HPDE for the last couple of years.

Sometime in June/July I'll take a comp class, probably with Skip Barber, and test for a provisional. Who knows, maybe I'll be mixing it up in PTE @ Summit by the end of the season!

Preliminary points totals put me at the limit for PTE. (Hoosier 225s included.) Who knows what a dyno will show, but I anticipate a strong number.

Well -- I am sad to see her go. But happy to see her go to a good, local home.

I hope that she finally gets out there now -- instead of being cooped up in my garage.

You already know Tim... He's been doing HPDE in a B13, a white one.
