Sterling Doc Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 While it's been a few years since I've seen this car, John Graber did a nice job converting this car to 944 Spec trim. The freshly rebuilt motor, & LSD trans are attractive, for sure. I think you mean 2:53 lap times at Road America, not 1:53 The NASA track record went into the 2:46's this year. Regardless, this car has the hardware to be competitive, and is nicely turned out. The Hoosiers could be used in an enduro (legal in E3), so are still useful. Don't forget to post this up over on the 944spec.org boards! Good luck, and let Neal Agran (the MW series director), or I know if we can help! Someone should pick this up and run with us in the MW or GL regions. With the enhanced Toyo contingency, and larger fields we're seeing for next year with a bunch of new drivers next year (Dan, Justin, Kurt, Sam, and others), the competition should be great! Quote
eurocars Posted December 31, 2011 Author Posted December 31, 2011 Hi Eric, It would be nice if this stayed in the Midwest . I just did not have the time or funds to get out and race it with NASA . I just really like racing at Road America !! I fixed the lap times . Any help getting the word out there would be appreciated . It is a fun dependable car to drive and I would keep it if I could . Thanks Sam Quote

Sterling Doc Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Wow, that's some pit crew! It looks like we'll have some great fields next year. No excuses, now - come out and play. The 944 Spec gang is having a go-cart GTG in Feb. I'll email Neal, so he can check in, and get you on the email list. Quote
KLR Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Fantastic!!! Welcome aboard! We should have a great, very competitive crew running this year. You're the second new joiner to the class this week. If I can ever be of any help, drop me a line at [email protected]. Quote
