Racetech RT1000 Seat

Racetech RT1000, brand new. Came out of the box and onto the living room carpet for me to sit in, and went straight back in the box. Paid $690 shipped, will do $625 picked up in Lexington, KY.

 

 

It's stupid comfortable. Better than most recaros. Best lower back support of any racing seat I've ever sat in. Only reason I'm selling is that the shoulder belt holes are too low for me. See how funky the lower back/ass area looks? That's the kickass lumbar support.

How big/tall are you that the shoulder holes are too low?

I'm 6'1". The belt holes would be fine if I weren't using a Hybrid Pro head and neck restraint, but the Hybrid screws it up. Not sure if a Hans user would have the same problem or not.

 

It's already boxed, so I can easily ship it at buyer's expense.

How wide of a person can fit in this seat? Any other seats it compares to as far as width?

From memory/feel alone, I'd say it's around the same size as a sparco pro2000 or recaro pole position, and somewhere between a Recaro Pro Racer and a Recaro Pro Racer XL (or SPG and SPG XL).

If it's the same size as the Recaro Pole Position then it should in theory be perfect. I have the Recaro PP now but the harness holes are too low for me so I'm forced to look for another seat. The harness holes on this Racetech look a good bit higher....hmmm
