1993 Formula Mazda

This is a 1993 “Tall” chassis (slightly taller roll hoop to accommodate taller drivers). The car was purchased in 2008 from WorldSpeed Motorsports and has primarily been run in the west coast Formula Car Challenge. It competed in the full 2008 Molecule Formula Mazda Challenge season, a partial ’09 season, and has only run a few FCC races in ’10 and ’11. An increasing lack of free time is forcing the sale of this wonderful car.

The car has been cared for meticulously by both myself and WorldSpeed Motorsports and has been fully supported and thoroughly inspected by them for most of the last season’s racing. New fuel cell installed in July ($1,700), shocks freshly rebuilt, and engine rebuilt and tuned by Drummond in May of last year ($5,900). This car has been a consistent front-runner in the competitive FCC series and is in mechanically perfect shape and ready for next season. The sidepods are showing normal wear and tear but other than that it's great. No fixing or tinkering required! Others who are familiar with this car will attest that it has always been maintained with no expense spared. The car is currently located and available for viewing in San Jose, CA.

- SCCA and NASA log books

- RLC MicroPod Lite dash and data system with GPS timing and track mapping

- Nitrogen tank

- Overhead shelves

- Workbench w/ storage

- Florescent light over workbench and incandescent interior lights.

- Tire rack

- Fuel jug rack

Looking for $22k OBO for just the car, or $12k for the trailer. Or get the whole package for $30k.
