Heading North to Thunderhill this weekend from San Diego

My plans are finalized, and I'm going to be heading North this weekend for the NorCal Thunderhill event. It's about a 570 mile drive for me from San Diego. If there are any guys going up there from SoCal, and you want to Caravan, let me know. I've never been there before, so it should be interesting learning a new track. I'll be running in TTC and racing in Spec SRT. I wanted to test out the new engine (no, the old one didn't blow up, it's just getting rebuilt after about 90 track hours on it) before our SoCal Willow Springs event the following weekend.

Greg, be sure to look us up. it willbe great to see you again and share one of our favorite tracks with you. boy that sure is a logn tow but i think you'll find it worth it and the weather should be good. Bring your in car video to the saturday night movies at our motor home! always a good time.

Looking forward to having you up here with us Greg. Thunderhill is beautiful this time of year and plenty of run off room too! Just don't go sideways into the mush.

 

We have about 16 folks signed up for Time Trials as of today, not bad considering we usually have a big drop off in numbers whenever we have to travel all the way up to Willows. We hope to get a few more signed up at the event also. The weather looks great too so it should be a great weekend. Look for the "NASA NORCAL TIME TRIALS" banner in the paddock.
