I know we fit in kind of between HPDE and race so just want to make sure I'm interpreting it right... - HPDE safety section says SA1990 or newer - Race safety section says SA2005 or newer - My region's HPDE tech sheet just says "DOT or Snell" - My region's TT car annual inspection sheet says SA2000 Thanks! - Mark Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
kbrew8991 Posted March 7, 2012 Share Posted March 7, 2012 TT is considered the top level of HPDE, thus we must meet at least the HPDE requirements. Also, per CCR 11.3, part 1 - Snell Ms are fine as well. So you're really not even required to have an SA, though it could very well be a better idea to have one. jimbow Posted March 7, 2012 Share Posted March 7, 2012 When I replaced my SA2000 after 9 years of use it was in pretty knarly shape. I have an SA2005 now (the 2010 wasn't released yet) I think this one is getting replaced when the 2015 comes out it will be about 7 years old by then.
