1991 CRX

230,xxx miles

$3200

Greenville, SC

I'm selling my CRX to make room for a s2000. I absolutely love this car, but I just don't have room for it anymore. I was a poor engineering student for most of my 7 years with it, so the engine and drivetrain are mostly stock. The suspension and brakes have been upgraded for track use, however. All maintenance was performed at or before the service intervals. Pretty much everything that moves has been replaced (engine, wheel bearings, axles, everything except trans) with new parts, so don't let the mileage fool you.

This would make a perfect track car for somebody. The chassis is well set up and has the larger brakes. Mechanically it's flawless - the timing belt, clutch, and RTA bushings were done 5k miles ago, and there are zero leaks. I tore it down a year ago to do the aforementioned maintenance and literally scrubbed the engine bay, it is immaculate now. With the recent maintenance done, all you should have to do is change the oil and put gas in it for the next 60k miles.

I'll check this thread, but please contact me at [email protected] . See below for complete list and pictures:

Engine and Drivetrain

- 89 DOHC ZC - 115 whp

- Timing belt, water pump, tensioner, rear main, PCV system, SI throttle cable, and spark plugs replaced at 225k

- DC sport 4-2-1 header for EG civic, port matched and O2 moved to the a-pipe

- Fidanza 12lb flywheel

- New (stock) clutch at 220k

- New cat and fuel filter at around 215k

- RSR exhaust, muffler painted flat black. Looks stock aside from the tip and has a nice deep sound to it

- HASPORT d-series engine mounts (softest urithane)

- Stock transmission with GM syncromesh, syncros in good shape. ES shifter bushings

- New NAPA lifetime axles and hoses at 276k (still have the receipts)

- New distributer around 220k

Chassis

- No rust at all!

- 9005 low beams

- DA Integra seats

- Road race shifter that I made for a design project in college. Stock throws, just next to the steering wheel

- Battery relocated to the trunk with dry cell battery

- Kosi K1 wheels with Falken Azines (40% tread left)

Brakes

- EX knuckles with type R calipers and 11.2" rotors, Steel brake lines in the front. I also have the stock calipers if you want to run 10.3"

- Front wheel bearings, lug studs (.75" longer from TL) and ball joints were replaced at 220k

- CRX Si rear disk brakes

- 260v brake booster with 1" master cylinder

Suspension

- Koni yellow sport externally adjustable shocks

- Ground control spring perches (for Koni shocks) with 350f 250r springs.

- ST rear sway bar. I made mounting brackets so it doesn't interfere with the exhaust (stock brackets interfere)

- RTA bushings replaced at 225k

Extra parts

- Parts SI transmission and the bearings needed to rebuild a trans. I was planning on swapping the final drive into the one I have and replacing the bearings, but I never got around to it

- Ground control kit for stock shocks including springs

- 2 or 3 sets of stock brake rotors

- A lot of the stock parts I pulled off the car, including calipers, knuckles, brake booster, AC system, seat rails etc.
