How high should I mount my wing?

Current setup with 5" spoiler

Wing I picked up from Ed Hunter. Has an 11" cord and 71" span. It's just sitting on the trunk in the pictures

Goal is to swap the spoiler for the wing and achieve the same benefits with less drag. With the spoiler I notice improved high speed traction and increased stability during braking. This is backed up with analysis of my traqmate data.

Rules allow the wing a max of 8" above roofline. Also, I'm keeping the car PTA/TTA legal so I can't run front aero at this time. Most ST2 guys stick the wing up there at max height for the cleanest air. Curious if that's still the current suggestion or if any lower height would be worth trying? My assumption is that with the straight airfoil (no curve across the span) and the relatively dirty air coming off a C5Z06's roof I'll want the wing up high in the cleanest air possible.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks,

Brian

PS - Never got a response to my thread asking the proper measurement points for wing height. Where is the 8" measured from? Top of airfoil, bottom, end plates?

Here is a example of a wing height that has been used.
