New to site. Have a few class questions for racing in NASA

I am new to this site and to the NASA series. I found out about through a DSM racer named Greg Collier. He races in the Super Unlimited class in the So-Cal Region. Anyway here are my questions.

 

I have a 1997 Eagle talon TSI. I looked at the NASA-X & NASA-TT Classing and Points form and have come to this conclusion. I looked and first I thought I would be in Class E. But I did the math and I am a +16 on modifications (maybe more) so does that mean I would be bumped up to the Class D? I can list all the mods I have done to the car to better help with this classing. Also, I dont see too much happening in the Florida region around me. Is it possible to go out of region to race events? Thanks in advance.

I can't answer the TT question, but once you have a NASA membership you can run events with any chapter you like. The same goes for the race license, it's good nationwide.

Yes, If you have more then 14 Mod Points you will move up a class.
