With 36 cars competing in Round 2 at Buttonwillow last month, the WERC Series is off to a great start this year! In just two endurance races, 49 individual race teams have already competed in the WERC this season. At that pace, the Series is poised to break the record 89 teams that competed in 2011. With representation from virtually every racing class in NASA, and from other sanctioning bodies, it seems racers have discovered the thrill and value of endurance racing. Thanks to the professionalism of our drivers, the WERC has earned a reputation of clean, close and extremely competitive racing. If you're new to enduros, or are not sure if this type of racing is for you, we invite you to check out the WERC at the next race....We'll be the ones out there getting four hours of seat time, and our race teams will be performing flawless pitstops with refueling and driver changes......We'll also be the ones out there on track having fun with the greatest group of drivers around!! I'm meeting up with Tony and Joe from TC Design on Friday (TMR) and they're giving me a hand with fueling Sunday morning. Looking forward to next weekend.
