Tim Comeau
Hey guys, I'm sure some of you already know this because you like to keep up with the rules, but....................... 1. SA-2000 helmets will be required for the 2006 season. 2. It is expected that the use of a head and neck restraint system or a device, meeting SFI 38.1 will become mandatory for all road race series as of January 1st, 2006. References and information can be found in the new "Appendix D", section # 29 of the NASA CCR's. I know that Dylan Scott and Joe Paluch already have the Hans device. I'll probably follow suit. Thanks,

Thanks, I don't have a HANS. I was going to get an ISAAC device, but it is not SFI certed. From every report I have heard it is at least as good as the HANS if not better. It actually pisses me off that NASA might go with SFI only devices since the way the SFI spec was written it was done is such a way as to make sure the ISAAC device would not pass.
