DaDr00
I have an autocrosser that wants to run his new Golf R with us, but we were wondering what base class it would fall under. It's the same chassis as the Audi TT-S but neither are listed. Please help. Thanks, Andrew
getfast
This isn't how base classing a new car is formally requested. If he's new, the answer is "novice" If he isn't, email [email protected] It's probably a D car, educated guess.
DaDr00
This is an experienced autocrosser and wouldn't want to be bundled in with our Novice field. Even though I'd searched the web and these forums for an answer, I assumed that this query was had before and someone might have an answer. But I'll send Greg an email and post the results in this thread when I get a response. Thanks!
getfast
The new car classing process is listed in the posted NASA-X and TT rules Hopefully the new R's are good at autocross, and someone has figured out how to defeat the non-defeatable stability control! DaDr00
It's been 5 days and no response from Greg. I sent him a follow up email today to see if he even saw the 1st one I sent. I'll update this thread when I get an answer.
