JSG1901 Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 To help with your preparation for the upcoming National Championship races, I've prepared a document with what I know about going fast at Mid-Ohio. Hopefully it will be of some use. You can find it here: http://www.scottgood.com/jsg/blog.nsf/2/SGOD-8X9R5C/$File/FastWayAroundMidOhio.pdf Quote
D_Eclipse9916 Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Thanks, this definitely helps me as I have only been once to Mid-Ohio (last year's nationals) and it was raining half the time; so I didnt get the practice I wanted. You have given me some stuff I want to try in warmup Quote
JSG1901 Posted August 18, 2012 Author Posted August 18, 2012 NOTE: I found an error in the original posting. In the description of turn 11 I said, "Turn-in should be just before the end of the extra pavement which has been added between the track and the wall on the left." In fact, it should have said, "Turn-in should be just before the end of the extra pavement which has been added between the track and the wall on the RIGHT." I've corrected and re-posted the document. Quote
FastBuddy Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 The link to Sam's excellent document on Mid-Ohio no longer works. Foolish me, I did not download it, and now I'd like to use it to help some friends with their online sim racing. If anyone has a copy or a link to this pdf, I would be very grateful if you would share it. Thanks, Buddy Quote

FastBuddy Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Michael, thanks. Very odd. It works now. I have tried for a couple of days and was getting a denial due to a Lotus Notes issue. Well, whatever. Thanks again. Buddy Quote
